Intelligent Refill Interaction
Whether pharmacy patients order prescription refills by telephone, online or via their mobile device the fusion-Rx platform can determine if refills are available or not, if the prescription has expired or it’s too soon to be refilled and will notify the patient of the status. If enabled, Authorization Fax will automatically send a refill authorization request fax to the prescriber on record for that prescription. If Authorization Fax is not enabled, the patient will still be informed of the status, and then their request is posted to the pharmacy work queue.
The refill authorization fax form can be customized to meet pharmacy needs. Our Authorization Fax solution automatically handles DEA fax form requirements for CIII – CV medications. Any prescriber that does not allow refill authorization requests will not receive these faxes.
